Power Poppy Challenge

Greetings
I made this card for the Power Poppy Challenge which meant that I needed to use specific colours in my card, namely a buttery yellow, rusty red and a grassy green. I chose the Chinese Lantern image from the Sunny Harvest stamp set, one of my absolute favourites. I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on white cardstock, coloured the image with Copics and mounted on various scraps of pattern paper from my stash after cutting out with Spellbinders Picot Edge Circles die. I used MojoMonday for the layout of the card. Cheers.

  1. Very pretty card, Melanie. I like your red lanterns and the little touches of brown on the berries. The mojo sketch works great with this image. TFS

  2. Melanie, this is just beautiful and I'm so happy to see you using this set. Great use of the colors for the challenge. I do not see it linked to the Pop Goes the World color challenge yet, so be sure and link up so you can toss your name in the drawing for a stamp set at the end of the month! Have a happy day, and thanks for playing along!
